Novica $75 Giveaway Winner!

Not only are these Mexican blue glass bowls from Novica perfect for homemade vanilla ice cream with fresh, organic raspberries...

They are also perfect for holding 40+ little slips of very important paper--the entries for my the giveaway of a $75.00 electronic gift certificate from Novica!

That means the winner gets to pick any merchandise they like--tableware, art, jewelry, crafts, home decor, etc. from the thousands of wonderful items carried by Novica. They can also feel good knowing that their choice comes from a fair-trade company that works directly with the artists who control all aspects of their work.

So, as much as I would like to be able to give the certificate to everyone who entered (by the way you all had some great ideas of what you would purchase with it!), only one lucky person gets to win.

All the names went in the bowl, with those choosing to do multiple entries having their names put in the applicable number of times). The names were given a good shake and stir and one name was chosen:

It is the lovely Pam from Sidewalk Shoes!

Congratulation to Pam who said: "Oh my goodness! Great giveaway!!! I've never heard of them, but after visiting their site, I am completely in love. I would have to get some of those gorgeous silver filigree earrings, because it can't always be about food you know!" Very true Pam, very true!

Congrats to Pam and to those of you that didn't win--stay tuned there will be more fun giveaways coming up in the next few weeks, including a few fun book giveaways. Thanks again to the kind folks at Novica for providing the wonderful prize.

Happy Aloha Friday!
